The Right to Education Local Task Force of Chester County

The Right to Education Local Task Force 24 (LTF 24) webpage serves as an informational hub for a parent-majority collaborative that partners with the Chester County Intermediate Unit, area school districts, and community agencies to support students receiving special education services. It provides families and educators with meeting schedules, special education resources, and direct avenues to advocate for, strengthen, and monitor local disability programs across Chester County.

Each Local Task Force throughout Pennsylvania meets no fewer than five times per year. Meetings are free and include opportunities for:

▪️Communication with local school districts and community providers

▪️Sharing Resources to support students and families

▪️Discussion and Presentations on current issues and best practices in Special Education

▪️Referral of Systemic Issues to appropriate agencies or the State Task Force for clarification, recommendations, or resolution

▪️Recommendations to improve and strengthen services for school-age children with disabilities
